I was playing for some hours then I exited the game, closed everything and left my PC on hibernation mode so I could make lunch, when I got back and turned on my pc it didn't turn on at first but when it did it gave me that same bluescreen. Update: I got a BSOD after I closed the game. One thing to mention is that it always occurs the second time I launch the game from the client, the first time it can happen or not but it'll surely happen for the second time I launch the game Some guys at r/gachagaming -> (here in this post) <- also reported this but no one is giving attention to it, all of them have different specs and/or specs better than mine, meaning it's not a hardware problem (and at the time I made this post, multiple people were reporting it recently), and I don't get BSODs with anything, I'm using Win 11 btw.Īs far as I know, it's a recurring issue that happens with a small number of people, if you are facing it, please, report so it can gain more relevance, it needs to be addressed accordingly in order to be fixed. This never occurs "in-game" while I'm playing with the character, only before you select the server you want to log in, sometimes it gives that message and sometimes it gives a BSOD without warning. This occurs randomly at a 50% of chance, when it doesn't happen I can play the game normally, it runs fine at 60fps, and my nvidia drivers are updated to the latest version, I have tried an old one but it has the same issue. Sometimes when the game loads to that server selection screen the game gives me a 'Login Exception Error' and it closes itself, then everything in windows stops responding and a BSOD occur with the code: DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION I've been trying to play ToF and I'm getting random bluescreens before I can choose the server I want to play. TLDR: Anti-cheat is causing BSODs when exiting or launching the game with a number of people. Nah, I had one after I tried to boot the game for a second time. If it works then it'll be the definitive solution for everyone, and one that's better than removing the anti-cheat and having the risk to be banned, or going through a hassle of running the game at a sandbox. (old)-ĮDIT: Apparently I solved the issue by enabling Fast Startup at Power Options and rebooting, however I need feedback from you guys to make sure it's not placebo. Update: apparently updating the windows to 22H2 fixed the issue
